Pinpoint Test C3 - Steering Angle Sensor Check

  1. Disconnect steering angle sensor connector. Set steering wheel straight. Set VOM on 200K/ohm scale. Measure resistance between Green and Green/White wires while turning steering wheel slowly from straight to 180 degrees right. If resistance increases from 25K ohms to approximately 50K ohms, proceed to PINPOINT TEST C4  . If resistance is NOT within specification, replace steering angle sensor.
  2. With steering wheel straight, measure resistance between Green and Green/White wires. If resistance is between 20-30K ohms, proceed to PINPOINT TEST C4  . If resistance is NOT within specification, replace steering angle sensor.
