The following procedure has been revised by a Technical Service Bulletin.

This portion of the power steering diagnosis procedure, applies only to the electrical components of the VAPS system. The VAPS control module, speed sensor, actuator valve, wiring harness and electrical connectors will be tested, DIAGRAMS/ELECTRICAL.

The diagnostic connector to activate the diagnostic procedure is located within the engine compartment near the brake fluid reservoir and brake booster assembly, Fig. 8.
