Power Window Motor
- Disconnect the motor lead.
- Disconnect the regulator mechanism from the motor.
- Supply power to motor lead connector with an ammeter in series.
- Operate the motor and observe the current draw. The current draw for the no-load test should not exceed four amps and should not fluctuate. Reversal of the motor wire connections will reverse the direction of motor rotation. See Fig 1
. Replace the motor if the current draw exceeds four amps. See POWER WINDOW MOTOR
