Ignition Timing: Adjustments

The ignition system used on this engine is distributorless (DIS), therefore ignition timing adjustments are not required or available. Initial timing is set at 10° ± 2°. If the timing is not to specifications, go to DIAGNOSIS AND TESTING PROCEDURES/TESTING PROCEDURES/BASE IGNITION TIMING CHECK.
