Tachometer Test
- Disconnect Blue/Yellow wire from ignition coil, and place a signal generator and tachometer tester between Blue/Yellow wire and ground.
- Compare tester and tachometer readings. Refer to the TACHOMETER SPECIFICATIONS table. If readings are within specifications, go to WARNING LIGHT SYSTEM CHECK. If readings are not within specifications, replace tachometer.
