Turbocharger 2.2L: Notes

NOTE: Turbocharger cannot be overhauled. Turbocharger is serviced by replacement ONLY.

Before removing turbocharger, follow these precautions:

Clean area surrounding turbocharger using a non-caustic cleaner.
After unit removal, cover all engine openings with clean cloth to prevent entry of foreign matter.
Ensure blades are not nicked or otherwise damaged. An imbalance condition could result and lead to severe damage.
If any internal engine component is replaced, change oil and filter, and flush turbocharger with clean oil.
Before installing turbocharger on engine, gently spin blades to ensure freedom of movement.
