Anti-Lock Brake System: Description

The Anti-Lock Brake System (ABS) functions to modulate fluid pressure to individual wheels to prevent wheels from locking under hard braking conditions. System uses an ABS control unit (mounted under driver's seat), a hydraulic control unit containing an actuator and solenoid valves, and a wheel speed sensor at each wheel.
