3.8L & 5.0L: Installation

Ensure mounting faces are clean. Position new gasket, and install intake plenum with throttle body onto intake manifold. Install bolts, and tighten to specifications. See INTAKE PLENUM TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS . On 3.8L Sable and Taurus models, tighten bolts in sequence. See Fig 1 . To complete installation, reverse removal procedure.
