Keyboard Function Check No. 2

  1. Connect one lead of Gauge System Tester (Rotunda 021-00055) to Black/White wire at trip computer connector. Connect other lead to ground. Set ignition switch to RUN position.
  2. Slowly adjust resistance from 0-10,000 ohms and back again. Check whether A/ECON, I/ECON, AV/SPD and DIST functions work. If no functions are displayed, go to KEYBOARD FUNCTION CHECK NO. 3.
  3. If all functions are displayed, replace keyboard. If only some functions are displayed, replace trip computer.
