Fuel Rails (3.8L Supercharged): Installation

  1. When installing fuel rail assembly, use new "O" rings. Push fuel rail down to ensure all injector "O" rings are fully seated in fuel rail cups and intake manifold.
  2. Install fuel rail retaining bolts. Tighten to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS  at end of article. To complete installation, reverse removal procedure. When installing intake elbow, align paint stripe on hose with rib on elbow assembly.
