Control Assembly Test: Sable

  1. Unplug connector from control assembly. Ground control assembly pin No. 5. Connect jumper wire between pins No. 2 and 3. See Figure . Connect test light between pin No. 1 and ground.
  2. Using a fused jumper wire, apply 12 volts to pin No. 2. Test light should not glow. Momentarily connect pins No. 4 and 2 using a jumper wire. Test light should glow.
  3. Test light should go out only if pins No. 4 and 2 are momentarily connected, jumper wire between pins No. 2 and 3 is removed or approximately 10 minutes have elapsed. Replace control assembly if test results are not as specified.
