Keyboard Function Check No. 5

  1. Connect one lead of Gauge System Tester (Rotunda 021-00055) to Black/Yellow wire at trip computer display connector. Connect other lead to ground. Set ignition switch to RUN position.
  2. Slowly adjust resistance from 0-10,000 ohms and back again. Check whether DTE, EX TEMP, DEST and E/TIME are displayed.
  3. If not all functions are displayed, replace trip computer display. If all functions are displayed, repair Black/Yellow wire between trip computer display and keyboard.
