Keyboard Function Check No. 6

  1. Connect one lead of Gauge System Tester (Rotunda 021-00055) to Blue/Red wire at trip computer keyboard connector. Connect other lead to ground. Set ignition switch to RUN position.
  2. Slowly adjust resistance from 0-10,000 ohms and back again. Check whether METRIC, ETA, SET and RESET functions are displayed. Normally only ETA appears on trip computer display. If some or all functions are displayed, replace trip computer keyboard. If no functions are displayed, go to KEYBOARD FUNCTION CHECK NO. 7.
