Short to VAPS Control Module Check

Turn ignition on. Put transmission in Park (A/T) or Neutral (M/T). Disconnect VAPS control module connector and instrument panel connector. Set VOM on 200-k/ohm scale. Measure resistance between Green/Red wire in VAPS control module connector and ground. If resistance is less than 10 k/ohms, service Green/Red wire between instrument panel and module for shorts. If resistance is NOT less than specification, proceed to PINPOINT TEST Q1  -PINPOINT TEST Q7  .
