Test Procedure

Verify pass code in all KEY ON, ENGINE RUNNING TEST steps before continuing. CONTINUOUS MONITOR TEST allows technician to simulate intermittent fault. Connect analog VOM to VAPS test connector. See EQUIPMENT CONNECTION  . Start engine to enter continuous monitor mode. Tap, move and wiggle suspect sensor and/or harness, while running all steps of KEY ON, ENGINE RUNNING TEST. Follow appropriate ACTION TO TAKE. See Figure .
