Test Procedure

Turn ignition off to reset control module before each test. Verify vehicle has passed VISUAL INSPECTION  . Start vehicle and ensure steering wheel is straight. Turn on analog VOM to activate test. Count needle sweeps and record all service codes displayed. See Figure . Illustration shows voltmeter needle sweeps. Notice same code pattern can sometimes indicate different faults in different test steps.
