Throttle Position Sensor: Service and Repair

Air Charge & Throttle Position Sensor, Air Bypass Valve:

1. Disconnect the Throttle Position (TP) sensor from the wiring harness.
2. Remove the TP sensor retaining screws, then remove the TP sensor.
3. Position the throttle position sensor so that the connector is facing forward.
4. Install the TP sensor retaining screws, tightening to 71-97 in lb (8-11 Nm).
5. Connect the TP sensor electrical connector to the harness.

NOTE: The TP sensor is not adjustable.
