Anti-Theft System
- Disconnect control module connector J2. Check for continuity between pin No. 9 of connector J2 and instrument cluster. If continuity is present, go to next step. If continuity is not present, repair Black/Orange wire (Orange/White wire on Cougar and Thunderbird).
- Check anti-theft system. If system does not check out, repair as necessary. If system checks out okay, replace keyless entry module.
