Single Switch (Mark VIII)

  1. With switch removed from vehicle, test with a self-powered test light or ohmmeter. With switch in NEUTRAL position, continuity should exist between terminals No. 3 and 6, and No. 4 and 7. See Fig 1 .
  2. Push switch downward. Continuity should exist between terminals No. 4 and 5, and No. 3 and 6.
  3. Push switch upward. Continuity should exist between terminals No. 3 and 6, and No. 4 and 5. If switch does not test as described, replace switch.
