Symptom Checks
Perform the following:
- Perform Key On Engine Off (KOEO) Self-Test. See step 1) of DIAGNOSTIC SUB-ROUTINES.
- If transmission shifts early in 4x4 HIGH position, go to step 1) of CIRCUIT TEST TB in appropriate TESTS W/CODES article in the ENGINE PERFORMANCE section.
- Ensure transmission is functioning properly.
