Pinpoint Testing

NOTE: See appropriate ANTI-THEFT DIAGNOSIS CHART under TESTING to determine testing according to vehicle system problem.

Before performing any tests on anti-theft system, check the following items to eliminate common problems:

Hood/trunk/liftgate properly aligned.
Door locks not binding.
Fuses not blown.
Loose or corroded connections.
Damaged wiring harness.
Damaged Central Processing Unit (CPU).
Horn, headlights, hazard flashers, interior lights, trunk lights, power door locks and remote entry systems operational.
