Hydraulic Actuation Assembly

The hydraulic actuation assembly contains an electric motor and pump to provide pressure to hydraulic system for ABS operation, solenoid and cut-off valves to modulate brake hydraulic pressure at each wheel, a pressure switch, 2 buffer chambers and 2 damper chambers. The internal electric pump supplies pressure for ABS system to reapply or increase hydraulic pressure as required for maximum braking without wheel lock-up. See Fig 1 .
