On 2.0L and 2.5L, a dual-speed electric cooling fan is used. Cooling fan is operated by high speed and low speed relays controlled by the Powertrain Control Module (PCM). On 2.0L M/T, Engine Coolant Temperature (ECT) sensor is used to sense coolant temperature. 2.0L A/T and 2.5L use a separate Cooling Fan Engine Coolant Temperature (ECTF) sensor to sense coolant temperature.
