NOTE: You should enter this Pinpoint Test only when you have been directed here from Diagnostic Routines.

REMEMBER

To prevent the replacement of good components, be aware that the following non-EEC areas may be at fault:

- Other aftermarket modifications

- Incorrect transmission fluid level

- Transmission operating temperature

- Engine operating temperature

- Ambient temperature

- Faulty connections

- Engine Sensors (i.e. TP Sensor)

The transmission solenoids and the MLP sensor are not analyzed in this Pinpoint Test, but are analyzed in the transmission section.

This Pinpoint Test is intended to diagnose only the following:

- Harness Circuits: CCS, SS1, SS2, SS3, EPC, TCC, TOT and MLP

- Powertrain Control Module (PCM) (12A650)
