FE32 - Check HDL Circuit Continuity

- Key "OFF".

- Disconnect headlamp relay.

- Breakout box installed, Powertrain Control Module (PCM) disconnected.

- Measure resistance between test pin 45 (test pin 42 for CD4E and Calif. M/T) at breakout box and Headlamps (HDL) circuit at Power Distribution box.

- Is resistance less than 5.0 ohms?

Yes -- Go to FE33. FE33 - Check HDL Circuit For Short to Ground

No -- Service open circuit. Remove breakout box. Reconnect all components. Verify elimination of idle speed concern.
