Convertible Master Switch
- Remove switch from vehicle and test with a self-powered test light or ohmmeter. With switch in NEUTRAL position, continuity should be present between terminals No. 1 through 9, and terminals No. 10 and 11. See Fig 1 .
- With all switches in UP position, continuity should be present between terminals No. 1, 3, 5, 7, 10 and 11, and terminals No. 2, 4, 6, 8 and 9. With all switches in DOWN position, continuity should be present between terminals No. 1, 3, 5, 7 and 9 and terminals No. 2, 4, 6, 8, 10 and 11.
- With lock-out depressed, there should be no continuity between terminal No. 11 and any other terminal. If switch fails any of these tests, replace master switch.
NOTE:
Mustang Coupe Master Switch is comprised of 2 single switches. Use testing procedure for single switch.
