No Ignition Power In Start Position
- Check for binding ignition switch, damaged steering lock release, damaged shift selector cable, blown fuse, damaged or shorted wires or damaged ignition switch. Repair or replace as necessary. If all are okay, go to next step.
- Turn ignition switch to OFF position. Disconnect 6-pin interior fuse panel connector. Turn key to ON position. Measure voltage at Black/Orange wire at connector. If voltage is more than 10 volts, replace fuse junction panel. If voltage is less than 10 volts, repair Black/Orange wire.
- Check continuity of ignition switch. If continuity does not exist at terminals as shown in IGNITION SWITCH CONTINUITY table, replace ignition switch. See Fig 1
.
