Manual Lever Position (MLP) Sensor/Switch: 4EAT

1. Disconnect negative battery cable. Remove shift cable from manual shaft. Disconnect MLP switch connector. Rotate manual shaft to align with alignment mark on top of MLP switch.
2. Loosen MLP sensor mounting bolts. Adjust MLP switch so that continuity is present between terminals "A" and "H", and between terminals "F" and "I". See Fig 1. Tighten mounting bolts to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS  table. Install shift cable and negative battery cable.
