Warning Light (WL) Operation Check

Turn ignition off. Disconnect ABS control unit. See COMPONENT LOCATIONS  . Turn ignition on. If ABS warning light is on, go to PINPOINT TEST WL-2  . If ABS warning light is not on, replace 15-amp METER fuse and/or warning light bulb. If fuse and bulb are okay, check for open in Yellow/Red wire (Escort and Tracer), or Pink or Blue/Yellow wire (Probe) between instrument cluster and ABS relay. See WIRING DIAGRAMS  .
