Manual Lever Position Switch (A/T) Test: 2.5L
Unplug manual lever position switch connector located on top of transaxle case. With ignition off, connect ohmmeter between Green wire terminal and Black/Red wire terminal. See Fig 1 . Shift transaxle through all gear positions. Continuity should be present in Park and Neutral only. If there is no continuity, or continuity exists in positions other than Park and Neutral, ensure switch is adjusted properly. If adjustment is okay, replace manual lever position switch.
