DR10 - Check For VPWR to Camshaft Position Sensor



- Key "OFF".

- Disconnect CMP sensor.

- Key "ON", engine "OFF".

- Measure voltage between the VPWR circuit at the CMP sensor vehicle harness connector and the battery negative post.

- Is voltage greater than 10.5 volts?

Yes -- Reconnect CMP sensor. Refer to Ignition System Diagnosis.

No -- Service open VPWR circuit between CMP sensor and power relay. Reconnect CMP sensor. Rerun quick test. Quick Test Appendix (Detailed Testing Instructions)
