X10 - Check For VPWR to Pusher Fan Control Relay


DTC 562 indicates a Pusher Fan Control (PFC) primary circuit failure.

Possible causes:
- Open or shorted circuit.
- Damaged PFC relay.
- Damaged Powertrain Control Module (PCM).

- Key "OFF".

- Disconnect PFC relay.

- Key "ON".


Pusher Fan Control (PFC) Relay Connector:






- Measure voltage between the VPWR pin at the PFC relay vehicle harness connector and the battery negative post.

- Key "OFF".

- Was voltage greater than 10.5 volts?

Yes -- Go to X11. X11 - Check Pusher Fan Control Relay

No -- Service open in VPWR circuit to PFC relay. Reconnect PFC relay. Rerun quick test. Quick Test Appendix (Detailed Testing Instructions)
