Description of Compression Readings

AllData Editors Note - Ford does not provide a cranking pressure specification, only an acceptable range.

When inspecting cylinder compression, the lowest cylinder pressure reading must be at least 75 percent of the highest cylinder. Perform compression inspection with engine at normal operating temperature, spark plugs removed and throttle wide open.
