Ignition Control Module: Service and Repair

REMOVAL
1. Disconnect both electrical connectors from Ignition Control Module (ICM) assembly by pushing down on the connector locking tabs. Tabs are marked PUSH.
2. Remove retaining screws and ignition module.

INSTALLATION
1. Apply a 1/32 inch coat of silicone dielectric compound the mounting surface of the ICM.
2. Position the ICM and install attaching screws. Torque screws to 22-30 lb. in. (2.5-3.5 Nm).
3. Connect both electrical connectors to ignition module.
