Retrieving Codes

NOTE: A New Generation Star (NGS) tester is required for testing the power window system.

Before beginning any testing, retrieve any existing Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs). See ON-DEMAND SELF-TEST in this article. Make any repairs that may be indicated. See appropriate PINPOINT TESTS. If symptoms remain, or if no DTCs exist, see SYMPTOM CHART table, then go to appropriate PINPOINT TEST.
