Pinpoint Test C - Right Power Window Inoperative
- Power Window Master Switch Check: Perform master switch test. See MASTER SWITCH under COMPONENT TESTING. If master switch is good, go to next step. If master switch is faulty, replace switch and retest system.
- Passenger's (Single) Power Window Switch Check: Perform single switch test. See SINGLE SWITCH under COMPONENT TESTING. If the single power window switch is good, go to next step. If the single power window switch is faulty, replace switch and retest system.
- Power Window Motor Check: Perform power window motor test. See POWER WINDOW MOTOR under COMPONENT TESTING. If motor is good, go to next step. If motor is faulty, replace motor and retest system.
- Power Window Switch Circuit Check: Turn ignition off. Access and unplug the Master power window switch connector, passenger's (single) power window switch connector and the power window motor connector. Measure resistance in the appropriate wires of passenger's power window circuits. Refer to the RIGHT SIDE POWER WINDOW CIRCUIT IDENTIFICATION
table. Also, refer to Fig. Figure
. If all resistances are 5 ohms or less, go to next step. If any resistance is greater than 5 ohms, repair open in wire(s) in question. Retest system.RIGHT SIDE POWER WINDOW CIRCUIT IDENTIFICATION
