One Headlight Door Inoperative
- Disconnect inoperative door motor connector. Measure voltage on Red/White wire at connector. If voltage is more than 10 volts, go to next step. If voltage is less than 10 volts, repair Red/White wire.
- Measure voltage at door motor connector Orange/Black and Red wires with headlights on and off. With headlights on, voltage should be more than 10 volts at Red wire and less than one volt at Orange/Black wire. With headlights off, voltage should be more than 10 volts at Orange/Black wire and less than one volt at Red wire. If voltages are okay, go to next step. If voltages are incorrect, repair wire(s) in question.
- Turn ignition off. Disconnect door motor connector. Measure resistance of Black wire between connector and ground. If resistance is less than 5 ohms, replace door control motor. If resistance is more than 5 ohms, repair Black wire.
