EGR Control Solenoid
Disconnect vacuum and electrical connections from solenoid. Apply vacuum to EGR control solenoid port "A", vacuum should hold. See Fig 1 . Using jumper wire, connect negative terminal to ground and apply 12 volts to positive terminal, vacuum should release. Replace solenoid if it does not operate as specified.
