CLEANING AND INSPECTION

Distributor Cap:

Clean both inside and outside surfaces of the distributor cap with soap and water. Dry distributor cap with compressed air. Inspect distributor cap for cracks, broken carbon button, or carbon tracks. Also, inspect distributor cap terminals for dirt and corrosion. Replace the distributor cap if it is worn or damaged.
