Spark Plug: Service and Repair

REMOVAL
1. Remove ignition wires.
2. Loosen spark plugs 1/4 turn and remove any dirt or foreign material from spark plug areas of cylinder head with compressed air.
3. Remove spark plugs.






NOTE: Refer to the Spark Plug Inspection Chart to determine the condition of the spark plugs.

INSTALLATION
1. Check and adjust spark plugs.
2. To install, reverse Removal procedure.
3. Tighten spark plugs to 9-20 Nm (7-15 ft lb).
