Aftermarket accessories such as a cellular phone, CB transceiver, alarm system or high-powered sound system that is not installed properly or malfunctioning may also cause Code C1137 to set.

1. Check ABS Control Module Connector Disconnect and inspect Hydraulic Control Unit (HCU) 8-pin connector C130. Clean or repair connector as necessary. Clear codes and retest system. If connector is okay, go to next step.
2. Check ABS Warning Indicator Reconnect Hydraulic Control Unit (HCU) 8-pin connector C130. Turn ignition switch to RUN position. If ABS warning light comes on, replace HCU. If ABS warning light does not come on, fault was corrected in previous step. Clear codes and retest system.
