Test H: Driver Seat Module Does Not Respond

  1. Disconnect in-line connector C3. Using an ohmmeter, measure the resistance of the Light Blue/White wire between terminal No. 22 and in-line connector terminal No. 4. Is the resistance less than 5 ohms? If yes, go to next step. If no, service the Light Blue/White wire for open. Restore connections and run the Data Link Diagnostic Test. See DATA LINK DIAGNOSTICS  under SELF-DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM.
  2. With driver seat module connector C2 disconnected, inspect terminal No. 22 (Light Blue/White wire) and the wire connection to the terminal. Is terminal No. 22 and wire connection okay? If yes, go to next step. If no, service the connector. Restore connections and run the Data Link Diagnostic Test. See DATA LINK DIAGNOSTICS  under SELF-DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM.
  3. With driver seat module connector C2 disconnected, inspect the module terminal No. 22. Is the terminal connection okay? If yes, replace driver seat module. Restore connections and run Data Link Diagnostic Test. If no, service the terminal. Restore connections and run the Data Link Diagnostic Test. See DATA LINK DIAGNOSTICS  under SELF-DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM.
