Test J: Driver Door Module Does Not Respond
- Disconnect in-line connector C3. Using an ohmmeter, measure the resistance between driver door module connector terminal No. 1 (Light Blue/White wire) and in-line connector terminal No. 4. Is the resistance less than 5 ohms? If yes, go to next step. If no, service Light Blue/White wire. Restore connections and run the Data Link Diagnostic Test. - With driver door module connector C2 disconnected, inspect terminal No. 4 and the wire connection to the terminal. Is terminal No. 4 and wire connection okay? If yes, go to next step. If no, service the connector. Restore connections and run the Data Link Diagnostic Test. See DATA LINK DIAGNOSTICS under SELF-DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM.
- With driver door module connector C2 disconnected, inspect the module terminal. Is the terminal connection okay? If yes, replace driver door module.
