Master Switch

  1. With switch removed from vehicle, test with a self-powered test light or ohmmeter. Connect one test lead on terminal No. 13. See Fig 1 . With all switches in NEUTRAL position, continuity should exist between terminal No. 13 and terminals No. 8 through 11 and 15 through 18. Replace switch if continuity is not as specified. If continuity is as specified, go to next step.
  2. Check specified switch pins for continuity while exercising switch as indicated. See the MASTER SWITCH TEST  table below. If continuity is not as specified, replace master power window switch and retest system.
