Power Window Master Switch: 4-Door

  1. Use self-powered test light or ohmmeter to check switch continuity. With switch in neutral position, continuity should exist between switch terminals No. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8 and 9, and terminals No. 10 and 11. See Fig 1 .
  2. Place switch in close position, continuity should exist between switch terminals No. 1, 3, 5, 7, 10 and 11, and terminals No. 2, 4, 6, 8 and 9.
  3. Place switch in open position, continuity should exist between switch terminals No. 1, 3, 5, 7 and 9, and terminals No. 2, 4, 6, 8, 10 and 11.
  4. Place lock-out switch in lock-out on position, switch terminal No. 11 should not have continuity with any other terminal. If switch continuity is not as specified, replace switch.
