Testing Sequence

CAUTION: When battery is disconnected, vehicle computer and memory systems may lose memory data. Driveability problems may exist until computer systems have completed a relearn cycle. See COMPUTER RELEARN PROCEDURES article in the GENERAL INFORMATION section before disconnecting battery. Vehicle may need to be driven more than 10 miles to relearn strategy.

When trouble shooting ABS system, use test procedures in the order they are presented. Using other than recommended procedure could result in wasted time and/or unnecessary replacement of parts. Follow sequence for diagnosing system.
