Clutch System: Description

The hydraulic clutch control system consists of the hydraulic master cylinder, slave cylinder, reservoir, clutch pedal position switch, and connecting hydraulic lines. The clutch disc and pressure plate are single-disc type. The clutch release bearing or bearing arm is activated by hydraulic pressure. The clutch linkage or pedal position requires no adjustments. This system uses 2 types of clutch slave cylinders; an internally-mounted (concentric) clutch slave cylinder, and an externally-mounted clutch slave cylinder.
