Pinpoint Test C - Illuminated Entry Does Not Work From Remote Transmitter
- Turn ignition. Unplug roof console connector. Unplug REM from interior fuse panel. Unplug Gray REM. Remove right and left side interior footwell light bulbs. Measure resistance of Green wire between both footwell light connectors, roof console connector, control module connector, and Pin No. 6 (Green wire) of REM connector. See Figure and Fig 1 . Measure resistance of Green wire between Gray REM connector and ground.
- Resistance between all connectors should be less than 5 ohms. Resistance between REM connector and ground should be more than 10,000 ohms. If resistances are as specified, temporarily substitute known good REM, then retest system. If resistances are not as specified, repair Green wire between appropriate connectors.
