Both Mirrors Inoperative

  1. Fuse Check  - Check RADIO (15-amp) fuse, located in fuse junction panel. If fuse is good, go to step 4). If fuse is blown, go to next step.
  2. System Check  - Replace blown fuse. Turn ignition on. Observe fuse. If fuse does not blow, go to step 4). If fuse blows, go to next step.
  3. Short To Ground Check  - Turn ignition off. Unplug 16-pin connector from interior fuse junction panel. Unplug mirror switch connector. Measure resistance between ground and Blue/White wire. If resistance is less than 10,000 ohms, repair circuit. If resistance is greater than 10 k/ohms, replace shorted mirror switch.
  4. Power Supply To Mirror Switch Check  - Ensure ignition is off. Ensure mirror switch is disconnected. Turn ignition on. Measure voltage of Blue/White wire at mirror switch connector. If voltage is less than 10 volts, repair Blue/White wire between fuse junction panel and mirror switch connector. If voltage is 10 volts or greater, go to next step.
  5. Mirror Switch Ground Check  - Turn ignition off. Measure resistance between Black wire at mirror switch connector and ground. If resistance is less than 5 ohms, replace mirror switch. If resistance is 5 ohms or greater, repair open Black wire.
