Driver-Side Air Bag Module: Removal

- Before proceeding, see SERVICE PRECAUTIONS . Disable SRS. See DISABLING & ACTIVATING AIR BAG SYSTEM .
- Remove four bolts retaining air bag module to steering wheel. See Figure . Disconnect air bag/horn electrical connector. Disconnect speed control connector, if necessary. Remove air bag module from steering wheel. Remove screws and speed control switches from air bag module, if equipped.
